Chatfield Youth Basketball Coaches who coach for JPS MUST be Certified to coach in the Winter League.

Coaching Certification:

STEP 1, CONFIRM: Contact Jacquie Pearson to confirm your interest in coaching and that she has you listed as the team's coach. (jacquiepearson@yahoo.com; or (303) 880-1415)

STEP 2, CONCUSSION TRAINING: Complete the Concussion Training, and save the certificate as a PDF.  You will need this ready to upload when you complete your online Coaching Registration.

STEP 3, ONLINE REGISTRATION: Complete the online Coaching Registration:

1. Go to the Chatfield Winter League Individual Registration, and click on "Register Now." This is the same link as a Player Registration.
   • Complete the sign in / sign up process by creating an account or logging in.
   • Using the drop-down next to Enrollment, change "Player" to "Volunteer."
2. Complete the information for your Background Check submission.
3. Upload your Concussion Training Certificate by PDF following the directions given on that page.
4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions of Coaching / Volunteering (check all the boxes and click "Done").

STEP 4, BACKGROUND CHECK: The system will then submit your information and a background check will be completed.  Results will be sent to Jacquie Pearson to validate your certification.  No News is Good News: you will only be contacted if there is a problem.
